These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sandy, a family task assistant service ("Sandy" or the "Service") operated by Mr Roboto LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Sandy, you agree to these Terms.
Sandy is a family task assistant that helps parents coordinate schedules, book appointments, manage calendars, and communicate with service providers. Sandy is accessible through multiple channels, including email and web, with optional SMS text messaging for users who choose to opt in.
Sandy offers several ways to interact with the service. SMS text messaging is one optional communication channel. Opting in to SMS is not required to use Sandy. Users who prefer not to use SMS can access Sandy's features via email or web.
If you choose to opt in to SMS, consent is collected through a standalone process that is entirely separate from these Terms of Service. See our SMS Consent Policy for details. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, without affecting your access to Sandy through other channels.
Sandy is intended for use by adults (18 years and older) in the United States. By using Sandy, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.
You are responsible for providing accurate information to Sandy, including family member names, provider details, and scheduling preferences. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming appointments and events before Sandy finalizes them on your behalf. You acknowledge that Sandy is an AI-powered assistant and may occasionally misunderstand requests or make errors.
When you ask Sandy to contact a service provider (such as a dentist, tutor, or restaurant), Sandy acts as your agent and communicates with that provider on your behalf. Sandy will confirm details with you before finalizing any appointment or reservation. We are not responsible for the quality, availability, or conduct of third-party service providers.
If you choose to connect your Google Calendar to Sandy, you grant Sandy permission to read your calendar events and create events on a Sandy-managed family calendar. You can revoke calendar access at any time through your Google Account settings.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.
For users who opt in to SMS, standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Sandy does not charge per-message fees.
Sandy is currently in beta. We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Sandy at any time with reasonable notice.
Sandy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Mr Roboto LLC shall not be liable for any missed appointments, scheduling errors, or damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via your preferred communication channel. Your continued use of Sandy after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
